The ASME Human Powered Vehicle is an international collegiate competition that takes place in various locations on the American continent. This is an opportunity for engineering students to demonstrate the application of sound engineering principals in the development of fast, efficient, sustainable, and practical vehicles. The competition takes place over one weekend. It begins with a static judging of the design and innovation of the vehicle. Followed by a Men’s and Women’s Sprint event. This is followed by a 2.5 hour endurance race.
